Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Phase 3 of Governor Lamont’s plan in reopening Connecticut after Covid-19 shuttered businesses, restaurants, schools, and places of worship alike to a halt began this week.
In Phase 3 we’ll see an increase in permissible numbers for gatherings — indoor and out; as well as, increased capacities for businesses. All are required to continue to abide by Covid-19 mask and social-distancing regulations.
This week, Governor Lamont also signed Executive Order 9F, officially enacting Phase 3; as well as, the extension of drive-in worship services and graduation ceremonies (at least) through November 9, 2020.
The Travel advisory has been updated to include 33 states and 2 U.S. territories. Those traveling (specifically to affected areas) are required to complete a 14-day self-quarantine and a CT Travel Health Form. Some exemptions can apply with a Covid-19 test and essential employee status. (click above for more details)
As always, please continue to reach me at my legislative office with questions, concerns, and other state issues so that I may provide assistance.
