Rehabilitation of Bridge 00793A on Route 15 Northbound Over the Quinnipiac River in Wallingford
I just wanted you to know that the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced the rehabilitation of Bridge 00793A, Route 15 over the Quinnipiac River in Wallingford began on January 27, 2025, and is scheduled to be completed November 9, 2025.
The project consists of the replacement of the northbound superstructure, minor repairs to the substructure, and scour protection in the Quinnipiac River channel.
This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 3 in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Drivers can expect nighttime lane closures between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions and drivers are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
