Dear friends and neighbors,
The cold winter weather combined with rising inflation and higher costs for groceries is exacerbating the issue of food insecurity and hunger right here in our community, and across our state.
Many Connecticut residents are struggling to make ends meet, pay bills, and afford costly medications and food. They can use our help.

Wallingford’s first win in a municipal year!
State Rep. Craig Fishbein, Wallingford Mayor Vincent Cervoni, Registrars of Voters Joan Parisi and Tom Wolfer, Town Clerk Kristen Panzo, Board of Education member Caroline Raynis, and interested residents and town hall employees gathered in the Town Council Chambers as Connecticut Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas presented a 2023 Democracy Cup to the town.

State Rep. Craig Fishbein joined more than a dozen volunteers from State Farm Insurance Thursday morning at Connecticut Foodshare to inspect, sort and package food for distribution to food pantries and shelters across the state.
The morning team consisted of more than a dozen Connecticut State Farm insurance agents, representatives from the corporate office in New Jersey, two regular volunteers and Rep. Fishbein, who packed more than 100 boxes of fruits, vegetables and dairy items for distribution.…
