I just wanted you to know that the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) announced it is accepting applications for admissions to the Sgt. John L. Levitow Healthcare Center and to a Residential Facility for individual Veterans (male and female) and Patriots’ Landing houses for Veterans and their families. These three programs are all at the scenic Rocky Hill Campus.

The Healthcare Center offers individual Veterans skilled nursing care in a state-of-the-art Veteran focused setting. Patients enjoy private and semi-private accommodations with ensuite bathrooms and an expansive view overlooking the Connecticut River Valley.

The Residential Facility features newly renovated and refurnished semi-private rooms, a physical fitness center, computer and game room, library, dining facility and is ADA compliant. The Residential and Patriot’s landing programs provide comprehensive supportive programs that allow Veterans the opportunity to apply for Veterans benefits, work on educational and employment endeavors and pursue permanent community-based housing. Among the services offered are social work support, vocational training and educational career services, legal assistance, primary medical care, therapeutic and recreational activities.
