HARTFORD — Following the 2020 election, the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) Conservative Caucus held an organizational meeting to elect officers to serve for the next two years.  The entire slate of officers has been reaffirmed for another two-year term:  Rep. Mike France will continue to serve as Chair, with Rep. Craig Fishbein, Vice Chair, Rep. Anne Dauphinais, Secretary, and Rep. David T. Wilson, Treasurer.  In addition, the Caucus discussed potential new members and Caucus-endorsed bill proposals

The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs will be hosting their annual Veterans Day Ceremony in conjunction with the ceremony held annually at the Middletown State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown at 2p.m. on November 11, 2020.

Governor Lamont announced today his intention to continue the unilateral rule of the state by executive order, extending the duration of the civil preparedness and public health emergency declarations for at least another five months. The Connecticut General Assembly Conservative Caucus strenuously objects to this extension and demands that legislative leadership reject the public health emergency declaration to reestablish the appropriate standing of the Legislature as a co-equal branch of government

Route 12 Resurfacing Project in Lisbon, Griswold, and Plainfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be conducting a milling and resurfacing project on Route 12 in Lisbon, Griswold, and Plainfield.

The milling portion of this project is scheduled to begin Monday, May 18th and continue through Monday, June 22nd. The resurfacing portion is scheduled to begin Monday, June 22nd and continue through Friday, July 10th.

No work will be performed on May 22nd, 25th, or 26th due to the Memorial Day holiday and July 2nd and 3rd due to the July 4th holiday.
