WINDHAM – State Representative Doug Dubitsky (R-47) joined area legislators at the September 1, 2015 Windham Chamber of Commerce Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast to discuss recently passed legislation and how it will affect businesses in the greater Windham area.
Legislators were asked to sit on a panel and answer questions from local business owners and Chamber members. Rep. Dubitsky discussed his successes in helping to defeat a slew of anti-business legislation advanced by the majority party.
“As a freshman legislator in the minority party, my efforts were most effectively applied this year defending the people of my district from many onerous new taxes and regulations,” Rep. Dubitsky said. “It is truly amazing how many bills were proposed this past legislative session which would have taken money from the people’s pockets and stripped them of more and more of their freedoms. Some of my biggest successes on behalf of my district this year have been helping to prevent ill-conceived and unnecessary bills from becoming law.”
