LISBON – State Representative Doug Dubitsky (R-47) celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Lisbon Senior Center on June 25th with seniors and local officials. The event was emceed by Leonora Szruba, the Chairwoman of the Commission on Aging. After guests spoke in testimony to the quality service provided by the Center, Rep. Dubitsky and the Lisbon delegation stood to present Karen Washington, the Center’s Coordinator, with a legislative citation to commemorate this milestone.
“The services that the Center and its volunteers provide to seniors are not only much appreciated sources of entertainment, but also contribute to our citizens’ health and well-being,” said Rep.
