HARTFORD — Following the 2020 election, the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) Conservative Caucus held an organizational meeting to elect officers to serve for the next two years.  The entire slate of officers has been reaffirmed for another two-year term:  Rep. Mike France will continue to serve as Chair, with Rep. Craig Fishbein, Vice Chair, Rep. Anne Dauphinais, Secretary, and Rep. David T. Wilson, Treasurer.  In addition, the Caucus discussed potential new members and Caucus-endorsed bill proposals for the coming Session.

Following their December organizational meeting, the CGA Conservative Caucus met to consider new members and is honored to announce today the addition of State Representative-elect Kimberly Fiorello, who will represent the 149th district towns of Greenwich and Stamford, and State Representative-elect Mark Anderson, who will represent the 62nd district towns of Barkhamsted, Granby, Hartland, and New Hartford.

“The Conservative Caucus is proud to announce the addition of two outstanding individuals who have a long record of standing up for our country’s founding principles,” said Rep. Mike France (R-42), Caucus Chairman.  “We look forward to having their voice in the Caucus to provide their perspectives on important issues that will undoubtedly shape policy discussions and future legislation.”

“I am honored to join the Conservative Caucus, and with them, to champion individual liberty and free market capitalism in the state legislature,” said Rep.-elect Mark Anderson (R-62).

“I will always advocate for the proper role of government, for rule of law, for individual liberty and personal responsibility, for a free market economy where opportunity is bountiful, and for the shared values of our civil society,” said Rep.-elect Kimberly Fiorello (R-149).  “To this end, as the first Korean-American woman legislator in Connecticut, daughter of first generation immigrants, I am grateful to join this caucus of fellow legislators whose vision for our state is the American Way – where every human being of every intersectionality can wake up, safe and secure, to pursue their aspirations to the best of their ability in the great Constitution state.”

The CGA Conservative Caucus is a group of 15 Connecticut legislators dedicated to the principles of limited government, economic freedom, and individual liberty.  Its members foster open debate about the role of government in society, adherence to the Constitution, and the rule of law.  They propose and advocate for legislation that promotes the freedoms, individual rights, and prosperity of all Americans.

The members of the Connecticut General Assembly Conservative Caucus are: Rep. Mike France, Chair (R‑42);Rep. Craig Fishbein, Vice Chair (R-90); Rep. Anne Dauphinais, Secretary (R-44); Rep. David T. Wilson, Treasurer (R-66); Rep. Tim Ackert (R-8); Rep. Brian Lanoue (R-45); Rep. Doug Dubitsky (R-47); Rep. Rick Hayes (R‑51); Rep. Kurt Vail (R-52); Rep.-elect Mark Anderson (R-62); Rep.
