HARTFORD- As a member of the Fire/EMS bipartisan caucus, State Rep. Tom Delnicki (R-South Windsor) attended a meeting today of the group to go over their legislative priorities and committed to supporting the bills helping the fire and emergency medical services in Connecticut.

- House Bill 5250, An Act Establishing a Grant Program to Reimburse Municipalities for Costs Related to Removal Of Pfas From Fire Apparatus.
- Senate Bill 937, An Act Providing Workers’ Compensation Benefits for Certain Cancers in Firefighters.
- House Bill 5497, An Act Concerning the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Affidavit Provided by Transferors Of Residential Property.

Rep. Delnicki noted how today is International Firefighters Day a day we celebrate the Connecticut fire service and the work they do to keep communities safe across the state.
