HARTFORD – Following a successful food drive back on April 13th, State Representative Mark DeCaprio (R-48), announced he will be holding an additional Colchester Food Drive on Saturday, May 18th at Stop & Shop in Colchester. Those interested in donating are asked to consider canned foods, and other non-perishable food items. Please see the attached graphic for full details. The proceeds will benefit the Colchester Food Bank.
“The way the community came together last month to help support the Colchester Food Bank was amazing,” said Rep. DeCaprio. “Food banks across our state continue to have an ongoing need to replenish supplies and with the overwhelming response by the community last time, it seemed like it was a great time to do it all over again.”
