HARTFORD- State Representative Christopher Davis (R-57) took the oath-of-office for his fifth term representing the 57th General Assembly District which includes Ellington and part of East Windsor on Wednesday, January 9th.
“Fixing our broken finances and making Connecticut more affordable are my top priorities,” said Rep. Davis. “With large deficits on the horizon, I am committed to making lasting structural changes and building on the reforms enacted in most recent biennial budget including the new caps on borrowing and spending.”
Rep. Davis will continue in his role as an Assistant Republican Leader and will return as the highest ranking Republican on the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee and will be one of only two Republican members of the State Bond Commission that will be chaired by Governor Lamont. In addition, Rep. Davis will be a returning member to the Energy and Technology Committee and a new member of the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee.
