HARTFORD – State Representative Anne Dauphinais (R-44) was recently honored by The Arc Eastern Connecticut for her commitment and support of programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Late last month, Rep. Dauphinais received this recognition during the first annual meeting and picnic of The Arc Quinebaug Valley and The Arc New London County.

Rep. Dauphinais was presented with a plaque stating, “in appreciation of your dedication to the people of northeastern Connecticut and your continuous efforts in advocating for the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

“I was humbled to have been recognized by the Arc Eastern Connecticut,” Rep. Dauphinais said. “They are a true model of efficient quality of care and do amazing things with a fraction of the funding that many state run agencies receive.”

As of July 1st, The Arc Quinebaug Valley and The Arc New London County merged to form The Arc Eastern Connecticut.
