    PLAINFIELD – State Representative Anne Dauphinais (R-44), Brian Lanoue (R-45) and State Senator Heather Somers (R-18) will be hosting an Informational Forum on hemp – a plant species that has several industrial applications.

    The forum will feature speakers Shannon Culley and Kevin Skulczyck from Field of Tranquility, the largest hemp farm in Connecticut. Culley and Skulczyck will discuss topics such as the new hemp law in Connecticut, the future growth of hemp in the state along with answering any questions area residents may have on the topic.

     WHERE: Plainfield Senior Center, 482 Norwich Road, Plainfield,

    WHEN: Thursday, September 5th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    This event is free and open to the public and area residents are invited to attend.
