    It was a very busy week at the State Capitol with numerous committee meetings and public hearings. I also had the opportunity to attend the Connecticut March for Life Rally on Wednesday. This is an event that draws thousands across to our state to stand for life and the unborn – it is an event that is very near and dear to my heart.

    We also had the chance to celebrate Connecticut Agriculture Day! It is a great day to recognize our farmers and other members of our agricultural industry that provide so much to our state. The displays and people who were on hand here on Wednesday were very impressive and I encourage you all to support our local farmers here in northeastern Connecticut!
