During debate on a bill to implement a $15 minimum wage, I tried to ask several questions regarding how the plan, which sets forth for automatic increases without legislative oversight, would be implemented, including if the wage would be automatically reduced if the economy faced significant challenges. I also asked for specifics to a proposal to reduce the wage if there are consistent reductions in the index. Shockingly, the proponent of the bill rudely refused to answer all of my questions.
Despite our differences of opinion on the legislation, I find it incredibly disrespectful to the people of Connecticut for her to flat-out refuse to answer.
