Social Security Error May Affect You

It’s being reported that the Social Security Administration sent incorrect “On Request” paper statements to a small number of people using the document since 2017. The affected reports were via a paper form, known as an SSA-7004.

It is important to note that the Social Security Administration said the mistakes were isolated to “On Request” paper statements requested by people who:

were born in 1955, 1956, or 1957.

were age 62 or older at the time of their request.

We had another incredible day collecting school supplies and handing out books with Waterbury Reads Gently Used Children’s Book Drive at Staples this past weekend. State Land Transfer to Bring Community Garden to East End

State Representative Stephanie Cummings (R-74) today applauded her colleagues in the legislature and Governor Lamont for approving a property conveyance to transfer a .11 parcel of state land to Waterbury for use as a community garden.

Rep. Cummings initially proposed the property transfer which was tentatively agreed to but was unable to be completed as time ran out during the regular legislative session that ended on June 5. The transfer was completed during special session this past Monday. It
