HARTFORD – For the third year in a row, State Representative Holly Cheeseman (R-37) is being recognized for her outstanding attendance record at the Legislature in Hartford.

Rep. Cheeseman cast a vote on all 391 pieces of legislation that came before the House of Representatives during the 2019 Regular Legislative Session and Special Session. According to statistics compiled by the House Clerk’s Office, perfect attendance is a very difficult thing to achieve, with only about 20% of legislators able to do so in any given year.

“The legislature has a very demanding schedule, but I am dedicated to my constituents and continue to do my best to be present and represent their best interests,” said Rep. Cheeseman. “I am grateful to my family, and my team members at my ‘day job’ for their support, as I would not have been able to achieve this milestone without them.”

Rep. Cheeseman is a Republican lawmaker who represents the 37th district in the General Assembly. She serves on the legislature’s Finance, Revenue & Bonding and Energy & Technology Committees, and is Ranking Member of the General Law Committee. She also works on the Commission for Economic Competitiveness, Pay Equity Working Group and Tourism Caucus.
