Roadwork on Route 156 in Waterford

WATERFORD – The Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) will be resurfacing a 2.71 mile segment of Route 156 (Rope Ferry Road) in Waterford between Monday, June 24th and Friday, July 19th.

The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2019, through Tuesday, July 2, 2019.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, through Friday, July 19, 2019.

Please expect lane closures on Route 156 from the Niantic River Bridge overpass to Route 1 in Waterford.

Note that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Police, traffic control personnel  and signing patterns will guide drivers through the work zone.
