WINSTED – State Representative Jay Case (R-Winsted) was recently invited to tour the Election Motion Company and participate in their celebration of the completion of a 6-month transition project to improve internal operations. Throughout the spring and summer months, Electric Motion Company has worked to move their entire manufacturing operations under one roof. Previously, company operations had been conducted in separate facilities.

“I’d like to thank Mike for showing me around Election Motion Company, the facility was well organized, clean and employees have access to cutting edge technology to ensure they are successful in their craft. Manufacturing is so important to rural communities and has the potential to improve the state’s stagnant economy. I wish Electric Motion the best in their future endeavors and also appreciate the first-hand experience of touring such a state of the art manufacturing facility,” said Rep. Case.

According to Business Manager Mike von Kannewurff, Electric Motion has various product offerings. Some of them include connectors for telecommunications and automotive uses. Additionally, the company leans heavily on manufacturing education in order to improve its workforce and the quality of production.
