Case Recognizes CT Veterans Hall of Fame Inductees

HARTFORD – Winsted’s Daniel W. Matthews (U.S. Marine Corps) and JamesPeter Matthews (U.S. Army Reserve) were both inducted into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 19. The ceremony was held at the Connecticut State Armory Building. State Rep. Jay Case (R-Winsted) presented legislative citations to both inductees.

“I congratulate both Daniel and JamesPeter on their achievement of being inducted into the Veterans Hall of Fame. Their commitment to bettering our community and defending our nation’s freedom is greatly appreciated,” said Rep. Case.
