HARTFORD – State Rep. Jay Case has been re-appointed as the Ranking Member to the legislature’s Human Services Committee. Case has advocated for Connecticut’s most vulnerable populations, helping pass landmark legislation in the 2023 session to reduce wait list times for the I/DD community.

“I am honored to be re-appointed as the Ranking Member to the Human Services Committee. We have made great strides in previous years, prioritizing the availability of programs and resources to our I/DD community. However, we have more work to do and I look forward to the opportunity to work with my fellow committee members to bring forth quality public policy that will benefit our most vulnerable residents,” said Case.
