It is always an honor to participate in Vista Life’s graduation ceremony. Today, I had the privilege to congratulate Ruthie Gianotti and Danny Laager as they transition out of the Discovery program and move into the next phase, the Engage program.
While in the Discovery program, students live together in a dormitory style setting. With the help of counselors and other staff, students not only gain more independence, they also learn valuable life skills as they transition into the Engage program as active members of the shoreline community.
Vista is a tremendous asset to our area and I’m always happy to lend my support in any way that I can.
