TAX CUTS
The state budget, adopted in June, cuts the bottom two marginal income tax rates for all filers from 3% to 2% and from 5% to 4.5%. Public Hearings on Proposed Fare and Service Changes for Shore Line East

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will host a series of four public hearings to gather input on the proposed rail service changes as well as proposed fare increases. The proposed schedule changes for Shore Line East would not take effect until after the Amtrak Fitter Interlocking Project is completed and it differs from the construction schedule that took effect on September 5, 2023.
