I appreciate everyone who made time today to attend the Community Forum at The Estuary in Old Saybrook.

The number #1 topic that continues to come up is our utility bills and what the legislature is doing to try and bring those costs down. I’d like to reiterate that this issue continues to be one of my top legislative priorities and I will continue to work with my colleagues to find long-term solutions to our energy issues. Additionally, we covered various bill proposals this included – SJ-35, the Save Act, Trust Act, SB-1217 (free school lunches), and other topics such as ARPA funds, PURA Chair Gillett, and reducing early voting times.
