Reps. Carney and Goupil Encouraging Area Residents to Support Local Residents in Need

HARTFORD – State Representative Devin Carney (R-23) and Christine Goupil (D-35) will be hosting a “Food and Diaper Drive” in Westbrook to collect non-perishable food items and diapers to benefit the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries and Bare Necessities Diaper Bank.

When: Saturday, September 18, 2021

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Where: Westbrook Town Green

21 Essex Road, Westbrook

Some of the items being collecting by the representatives include pasta, sauce, juice/juice boxes, hot/cold cereal, peanut butter, jelly, nuts, dried fruit, cake and muffin mixes, diapers and wipes.

The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries serves residents in Essex, Chester, Clinton, Madison, Old Saybrook, East Lyme, Lyme, Old Lyme, Killingworth, Westbrook, and Deep River.
