East Hartford - State Representative Joe Canino (R-65) toured Coca-Cola’s CT facility, which is home to 760 employees and part of the plant dating back to 1941! They bottle 51.5M cases a year, supplying favorites like the Red Sox, TD Garden, Yard Goats, and Mohegan Sun.
The tour's lineup: ginger ale & diet cola. The tour also focused on sustainability efforts with aluminum bottles, 100% recycled 20oz plastic, and less plastic per bottle. Employees are also active in the community, supporting groups like the Boys & Girls Club and Food Share.
