Recently, I stayed up until 2AM to testify in strong support for increased funding to the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, which aids several Torrington agencies like the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). With rising cases of overdose deaths and addiction, CCAR is one of many organizations that serves our community by helping those who need it most.
