Fighting for Resident Voices on the Solar Development

Yesterday, the Connecticut Siting Council approved a 3-megawatt solar farm on Lovers Lane in Torrington, going AGAINST the desires of our residents in the 81-unit Country Woods Condominiums complex.

This session, I will be supporting a bill that prevents such facilities from being built within 500 feet of residential housing to put local interests first. Please stay tuned for the chance to testify at an upcoming public hearing on this issue.
