CT Culture of Corruption…Do We Need a DOGE?

CT Culture of Corruption…Do We Need a DOGE?

Today, I joined House and Senate Republicans as we called for increased government accountability through the Inspector General’s Office on several recent questionable reports. Some of these ethical lapses in state government include:
❌ Reckless Spending – CT State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) President Terrence Cheng caught buying expensive meals and transportation, while students face tuition hikes
❌ Canceling an Audit – Kosta Diamantis and former Rep. Ziogas (D) pressured to cancel a critical audit under current Office of Health Strategy Commissioner Deidre Gifford
❌ DMV Towing Scandal – State DMV employee was reselling towed vehicles for profit
❌ Stalling on Electric Rates – PURA’s Chair Marissa Gillet had secret text conversations with Democrat lawmakers
❌ Voter Fraud – Right here in Torrington, voter fraud cases are popping up in our state, but no one is going to jail.
➡ Our taxpayers deserve to know how their hard earned dollars are being spent. No one is above the law and it’s time we crack down on this blatant corruption.

Women Veterans Day was officially established through state law, Public Act 25-20, and was signed into law just last week! This legislation formally recognizes June 12th as Women Veterans Day. It’s important that we have a complete and accurate picture of the makeup of our armed forces—and women have always played a vital role in […]
