BREAKING: CT Dems Strike Down Affordable Energy Proposal

Today, I joined my Republican colleagues on the Energy and Technology Committee in an attempt to amend our agenda and include our proposal that transfers the energy costs from our “Public Benefits Charge” into our state budget process.
This would have allowed for the following:
Public Comment and Input
Transparency
Reevaluation and Financial Security
Sadly, Democrat leaders on the committee not only failed to put this on the agenda, but they voted down our attempt to even consider this proposal. When will they listen to the residents of Connecticut?
