Paws for a Cause: Walk to Cure Childhood Leukemia

Posted on October 20, 2017 by admin

On Saturday, October 21, please join me for “Paws for a Cause”, a walk to cure childhood leukemia.

In 1968, my sister, Donna Marie Camillo, passed away at the age of 11 following a courageous battle with cancer. While this diagnosis was a death sentence 49 years ago, today is a different story. With a 90% cure rate, we are well on our way to eradicating this illness from the world.

This annual walk will be a tribute to a wonderful young girl who was loved by all. Her love of people and animals inspired this walk to include dogs. Please help remember Donna and the millions like her who have suffered from childhood Leukemia, and help us get to the magical 100% mark.
