Connecticut will continue its tradition of a ‘Tax Free Week‘ beginning on Sunday, August 15, and ending on Saturday, August 21. This will be the 21st Tax Free Week to take place in the Nutmeg State.
During the one-week tax exemption period, purchases of clothing or footwear costing less than $100 per item will not be subject to Connecticut sales tax. The exclusion applies to clothing sales made by Connecticut retailers (and out-of-state retailers) to Connecticut customers.
