I’ve taken a couple of days to reflect on the gut-wrenching violence that occurred at our nation’s Capitol. After taking a LOT of deep breaths, and a LONG time to think – enough is enough! Our election concluded months ago, it’s time to accept it and move forward. We must stand together and speak out with unity against any and all extreme actions that put our sacred American institutions at risk. We must all agree that we have the right to demand change, but mob-like behaviors will only destroy the world’s brightest beacon of democracy. We can’t provide protection to our beloved country when people are so separated. We must all embrace a mutual respect, which starts at the very top and works its way down to every fellow American citizen.
