The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 in the Town of New Milford.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.47-mile segment of RT 7. The milling of this project is scheduled to occur on Sunday June 6, 2021 and be completed on Tuesday June 8, 2021. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to occur on Sunday June 13, 2021 and be completed on Friday June 18, 2021.
Lane Closure Information:
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).
