The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be repairing the drainage system on Route 7 (Kent Road) in New Milford at Everwood Drive. Work is scheduled to occur on Saturday, September 25, 2021, through Sunday, September 26, 2021 (rain date of October 2 and October 3, 2021).
Motorists can expect a road closure on Kent Road at Everwood Drive. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone.
A detour will be set up taking motorists to Route 37 (Sherman Road), Route 39 N (Gaylordsville Road), Route 55 (Webatuck Road), and back to Kent Road. The work schedule for this project is set to begin at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday until completion.
Please be cautious when driving in this area over the weekend.
