HARTFORD – Freshman State Representative Bill Buckbee (R-New Milford) received confirmation from the House Clerk’s Office that he had earned a one hundred percent voting record for the 2017 regular and special sessions.

“I am proud to report to my fellow residents of New Milford that whenever the Speaker of the House called for a vote, which he did on 417 unique occasions, I participated on behalf of our district,” said Buckbee after the release of his official voting record. “I also believe thanks are in order to all of those who expressed their opinions to me regarding legislative matters, whether we agreed or not. I take all of these interactions into consideration before I cast any vote in the House of Representatives.”

Buckbee currently serves on the General Assembly’s Children, Commerce, and Internship Committees. The 2018 Legislative Session is slated to begin in February.
