New Milford – State Representative Bill Buckbee (R-67) attended an Arrow of the Light ceremony held on Sunday, March 5, 2017, to honor several members of Boy Scout Webelos, Pack 58.

“Several members of Pack 58 worked extremely hard to complete all of the requirements necessary to become a Boy Scout, which is what the Arrow of the Light Badge signifies,” said Rep. Buckbee. “I commend these young men, and wish them the best as they continue their service to our community while assuming a new role as Boy Scouts. I am confident that they will continue to be positive influence, and look forward to seeing them progress through their Boy Scout training.”

According to the Boy Scouts of America, to earn the Arrow of the Light Badge, these scouts had to be active within their troop for at least six months since completing the fourth grade, or at least six months since becoming ten years old. Additionally, they have completed each of the required adventures with then den, or family, and at least one elective adventure of the den or family’s choosing.
