Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it’s a time to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Originally known as Decoration Day, this holiday began after the Civil War and has grown into a National Day of Remembrance for all who died in military service. As we enjoy time with friends and family, it’s important to reflect on the sacrifices that make our freedoms possible.
