HARTFORD – The House was in session on Wednesday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18. To review all of the legislation that was considered, please click on the corresponding date and you will be provided with the House Journal.

I had the opportunity to participate in several advocacy events during our session days, including the Connecticut State Firefighters Association’s Fire Service Day. Departments from across the state visited with lawmakers to discuss critical resources and legislation impacting them. The emerging technology is fascinating and will save lives. I took an opportunity to demo a new ‘jaws of life’ machine.

Earlier in the week, we held the annual Connecticut General Assembly kick ball game. This event is held for charity and the two organizations were supported this year were the Pink Fund and the Earl E. Exum Memorial Fund. I’m also pleased to report that House and Senate Republicans emerged victorious for the third year in a row.
