Rep. Buchsbaum Touts State Bond Money for Park, Training School

State Representative Jason Buchsbaum announced that the State Bond Commission approved funding for multiple projects in Southbury.

$400,000 was approved for roof repairs at Southbury Training School, along with $100,000 for sewer pipe repairs at the site.

There was also funding approved for Kettletown State Park and Larkin Trail State Park repairs as part of a larger $10 million request for statewide improvements at various State Park, Forest, Boat Launch and Wildlife Management areas. The funding was approved for storm/flood damage recovery, as well as for Kettletown Priority Bath House/Toilet Building Renovations.
