HARTFORD – Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, was sworn in Wednesday as the representative for the 70th District in the House of Representatives during a ceremony at the state Capitol.

Rep. Bronko, who enters his second term in office, was joined by his family, including his wife, Caitlin, son, Jonathan, and daughter, Julianne, for the opening day of the 2025 Legislative Session.

House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora has appointed Rep. Bronko to serve as Ranking Member of the General Assembly’s Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee. Rep. Candelora has also appointed him to serve on the Government Administration and Elections and Transportation committees.

“As I begin another term, I am reminded of the profound responsibility we have as lawmakers to listen to the needs of constituents and deliver real results for the public,” said Rep. Bronko. “Connecticut faces both challenges and opportunities, and I am determined to work across the aisle to find solutions that benefit all residents, especially lowering the cost of energy, maintaining our fiscal guardrails and reducing the tax burden we all face. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.”
