NAUGATUCK – With a backdrop of ongoing improvement projects on Rubber Avenue, Rep. Seth Bronko, R-Naugatuck, was joined recently by the Naugatuck legislative delegation and Mayor Hess during a press conference announcing details of more funding that has been approved for the Borough.
Rep. Bronko was joined by Senator Joan Hartley, State Senator Jorge Cabrera and Rep. David Labriola in announcing that $5.7 million had been approved by the board of the Community Investment Fund 2030 to aid in the redevelopment of Naugatuck’s Rubber Avenue Corridor.
“We took the opportunity to proudly stand near the corner of Rubber Avenue to share details of the project’s scope, which will include new sidewalks to help keep people safe and connect area businesses,” Rep. Bronko said. “The project also is meant to connect with others in the area focused on spurring accessibility, safety and economic growth for all of Naugatuck.”
