Rep. Bolinsky: Greater Danbury Job Fair on Oct 27th

NEWTOWN- State Rep. Mitch Bolinsky (R-106) is making interested Newtown residents aware of a regional job fair opportunity being held next week sponsored by DanburyWORKS.

DanburyWORKS is hosting a “Job Fair” available to Danbury and surrounding town residents on Wednesday, October 27th from 4pm – 7pm at Danbury Police Department, Community Room, 475 Main Street, Danbury, CT. Parking is available behind the station This is an opportunity for those who are unemployed or looking to make a career change, to learn about various local employment opportunities.

Jobs are available at local employers! Join us and meet representatives from the Community Action Agency of Western CT, Danbury Police Department, Danbury Public Schools, Naugatuck Valley Community College, Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board, Nuvance Health, Salvation Army, Starbucks, United Way of Western CT, and WERACE.

This event is an open house format, the public is invited to attend anytime that fits their schedule during the event from 7pm – 3pm. DanburyWORKS encourage those who plan to attend to bring a resume with them, if available.
