In an effort to keep you as informed as possible about the activities of our state government, I would like to bring your attention to numerous new state laws that took effect on New Year’s Day.

Some of the new statutes concern public assistance programs for veterans, bipartisan educational reform initiatives, and numerous motor vehicle regulations and permits.
