Mike was reelected to a second term in November, 2016 as CT State Representative for the 150th district, proudly serving Greenwich. He serves as the Ranking Member of the Labor and Public Employees Committee, and also sits on the Housing, and Energy and Technology Committees.

During his first year of service, Mike was recognized by the State Legislative Leaders Foundation as one of the Nations Emerging leaders and represented the State of CT at the national conference in Virginia at the Darden School of Business.

A lifetime resident of Greenwich, Mike is a graduate of the Greenwich public schools system and continued with his education at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, graduating with a degree in Business Administration.

Upon graduation, Mike went on to become a partner in a family owned tool rental business in Stamford.  After several years in business Mike earned his OSHA certification and became a safety consultant working on several high rise construction projects in Manhattan and White Plains NY.  Mike later focused his attention to the real estate industry and was hired as operations manager for Nutmeg Settlement in Greenwich. He is currently a consultant for MSB Advisors in Greenwich.

Mike has a reputation for being involved in his community. He served as President of the PTA for the New Lebanon School for 3 years and is a founding member of the Greenwich Preservation Trust where he serves as Treasurer on the executive board. In addition, Mike spent several years as the Byram Neighborhood Association president.

Mike resides in Greenwich with his wife, Shannon, and their two sons, Michael Jr. and Sean Liam.
