Rep. Yaccarino Attends Benchmark Assisted Living Veterans Coffee Hour

HAMDEN- State Representative Dave Yaccarino attended a coffee hour event with seniors and veterans at Benchmark Senior Living at Hamden on Monday, August 7 to discuss recent legislation, which impacts both veterans and seniors in Connecticut.
“It is always an honor to meet veterans and listen to their perspective – that’s my job as a legislator. I’m grateful to Frank and William, along with all of those who've served in our Armed Forces, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to spend some time with them,” said Rep. Yaccarino. “As legislators, we need to ensure that we are always finding ways to improve the quality of life for residents in any community, and in order to do so effectively, we must hear first-hand from that group of individuals.”
