The Legislature’s Energy and Technology Committee will hold a virtual Informational Forum on Tropical Storm Isaias response and electric utility rate increases with invited speakers on
Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. via zoom. This is in addition to the Monday, August 24 PURA regulatory hearing to investigate rate increases.

The Energy Committee is requesting that
testimony be limited to matters related to Tropical Storm Isaias Utility Response and the July 2020 Electric Utility Rate Increases.
In advance of the Informational Forum, residents are encouraged to share and submit their written testimony to the Energy Committee on Eversource’s response to the storm and how any proposed electricity rate increase will impact you and your family.
