Bristol Legislators Host First Coffee Hour of the Year

State Reps. Whit Betts (R-76) and State Sen. Henri Martin (R-31) met with the people of Bristol to discuss issues affecting the district, bill proposal ideas, and other topics pertaining to state or local government as the start of the 2020 Legislative Session is set to begin on February 5, 2020.

“We really appreciate the opportunity to hear from our constituents. We value the opinion of the people we represent and always look forward to hearing from them, especially as we prepare for the 2020 Legislative Session. Please continue to reach out to us and share your thoughts about anything related to state government, local issues or bill proposals. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and we hope to see more new faces again next month,” said Rep. Betts and Sen. Martin.

The next opportunity to meet with the legislators will be during their monthly coffee hour event on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 8-9 a.m. at Rodd’s Restaurant located on 854 Farmington Avenue in Bristol.
