Rep. Chris Aniskovich Calls for Accountability and an End to Government Waste

HARTFORD —State Representative Chris Aniskovich (R-Clinton, Killingworth, Westbrook) is calling on Democrat leadership to prioritize the real concerns of Connecticut residents and put an end to the misuse of taxpayer dollars.
“The people of Connecticut deserve leaders who are focused on solving real problems—not wasting their hard-earned tax dollars,” said Rep. Aniskovich. “Instead of addressing critical issues like rising energy costs and economic challenges, Democrat leadership continues to ignore misuse and mismanagement in state government.”
- Taxpayer-funded brunches for CSCU Chancellor Cheng while the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system holds $460 million in reserves.
- Misuse of state vehicles by the Governor’s direct staff.
- Illegal sales of towed vehicles by a Department of Motor Vehicles employee.
- Voter fraud concerns in Bridgeport.
Rep. Aniskovich pointed to recent examples of government waste and mismanagement, expressing frustration that taxpayer dollars are being spent irresponsibly while residents face increasing financial burdens.
“It’s unacceptable for public funds to be misused while Connecticut families are struggling,” Aniskovich continued. “We need transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to putting the people first. It’s time for Democrat leadership to take these issues seriously and deliver real solutions.”
