    Rep. Chris Aniskovich Welcomes Swedish Ambassador to Hartford for Commerce Committee Meeting

    Hartford, CT – Today, State Representative Chris Aniskovich, Leader of the Commerce Committee, welcomed H.E. Urban Ahlin, Ambassador of Sweden, to Hartford for a diplomatic meeting with the Leadership of the Commerce Committee. The visit was arranged by Megan Clark Torrey, CEO of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut, to foster discussions on international relations, economic collaboration, and innovation.

    “This diplomatic visit provided an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our ties with Sweden and explore new avenues for commerce and innovation in Connecticut,” said Rep. Chris Aniskovich. “Engaging in these discussions reinforces our state’s commitment to global economic partnerships and growth.”

    The meeting, held at the Capitol, emphasized the importance of international engagement in advancing economic opportunities for Connecticut businesses.

    Rep. Aniskovich extended his gratitude to Ambassador Ahlin for his visit and to Megan Clark Torrey for facilitating this significant exchange.
